Ardsley Hacks is the fourth hackathon Ardsley High School is hosting. High schoolers, of any experience level, can participate. You can form teams of 2-5 students, even across different schools, and work to make projects relating to coding. We'll have workshops and mentors to help you with your projects and learn! The competition is on April 28 from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. You'll present your projects to our panels of judges to win prizes in multiple categories!
The theme for the hackathon is Hacking for Social Good! You must incorporate this theme into your program, and feel free to be creative with it!
This award is for people who have the best written code. Code should be readable, well-structured, well-organized, reliable, and efficient.
This award is for having the best project as a whole. Projects should be innovative and ready to use. Simply the best!
This award is for those who have not been to any hackathons. We welcome coders of all experiences!
A hackathon is an event where teams get together and build a project relating to coding, using software or hardware components, in a short period of time.
Anyone! Everyone is welcome no matter their prior coding knowledge. Hackers must be high schoolers and bring one adult chaperone from their school. If a school staff member is not available to chaperone, a parent may be designated as the chaperone. An administrator from the student's school must fill out this form and include a scanned copy of the designated chaperone's government issued ID.
